# Multi Format Loop Exploitation?

 * Lately I’ve been double wowed by various sites using WordPress which show one(
   sometimes two) complete posts, or the very stylish two excerpts side by side,
   with titles for the 3-5 following posts below this.
 * It looks superb, and really takes the “blog” out of the WordPress install, yet
   offers all the same information at an immediate glance just the same… arguably
   in an even better way…
 * I remember reading about Codex tips on exploiting the loop to work this way using
   a loopcounter, and then creating css for post 1, post 2 etc…
 * But I seem to have lost track of the master article from the codex which described
   this in detail (from back before the codex cleanup.)
 * A.) does anyone know where it went?
    B.) does anyone have any direction to point
   me in (aside from back where i came from) which might guide me, or shed a little
   tiny bit more light on this emerging, and very interesting <strike>ab</strike
   >use of WordPress beloved loop?
