 * Hello, I want to develop a web page where data is consulted from a database.

   I am testing the free version. How could I translate the plugin? With the .po
   and .mo translations I can’t translate the plugin and it changes when I change
   the language. For the multi-language site I use the Polylang plugin. Thanks.
   Greetings.

 * Hi [@lobefer](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lobefer/),
 * I think you need poedit to create a translation. Or translate online:
    [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/for-editors/youre-an-editor-now-what/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/for-editors/youre-an-editor-now-what/)
 * Can anyone help with this?
 * Thanks,
    Peter

 * Thank you for the reply.
    Yes, in part. With poedit I can translate the plugin
   but I only get to translate the menu and internal options (WordPress desktop)
   I want to translate, externally, for example: “Show X entries”, “Showing 1 to
   10 of 218 entries”, the ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ buttons, etc .. I can’t find the“
   msgid” and “msgstr” in the code. Greetings. Lorena

 * Hi Lorena,
 * You don’t need to change any text strings for publications. Just follow the instructions
   on this page:
    [https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-publisher/change-publication-language/](https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-publisher/change-publication-language/)
   See: Global publication language
 * Does this help?
 * Thanks,
    Peter
