 * Hello,
 * How would I go about setting up SSL in a multi-network environment. I know that
   a wildcard SSL cert covers one domain/network. It’s straightforward doing this
   for the primary domain from the server-side, however, I’m unsure how to add an
   SSL cert for one of my additional networks.
 * I have 3 networks, each with multiple subdomains. Two of the networks need wildcard
   SSL certs (which I already have).

 * If anyone needs to install SSL for their entire network, use WP Encrypt from
   Felix Arntz. It installs a Let’s Encrypt cert using SAN. Be sure to install the
   credentials it provides on your server for both the root domain AND the wildcard
   sub-domain. There is currently a 100 domain limit on each cert (imposed by Let’s
   Encrypt for browser performance). However, Let’s Encrypt is open to raising the
   limit upon request.

 * Are you sure that you mean reely wildcard-subdomain? I think you mean multidomain,
   because letsencrypt can’t produce a wildcard ssl-cert for domains like *.example.
   com or *.subdomain.example.com. You need to know the full domainname.
 * Letsencrypt to wildcard:
    _“We currently have no plans to do so, but it is a
   possibility in the future. Hopefully wildcards aren’t necessary for the vast
   majority of our potential subscribers because it should be easy to get and manage
   certificates for all subdomains.”_ [https://letsencrypt.org/docs/faq/](https://letsencrypt.org/docs/faq/)
