• I chose a “bad” title, because it’s not exactly what I’d like to do, but it could be a choice for future webmasters.

    So… My idea was:
I create a quizz with “Flags from Europe”, and another quiz “Flags from Africa”, and a third one “Flags from Asia”, etc.
And i prepose for the moment each quizz separately.
My true idea is: Is it possible to create a quizz “Flags from the World” by grouping together all the existing questions from other quizzes (Europe + Africa + Asia)?

I know your answer, Dylan 😉
“This option exists, but you must create a gigantic pool of questions and pick among them later flags from Europe, flags from Africa and flags from Asia”.
Yes… But it’s more easy to create small databases and to group them at the end… or to create a quizz with monuments, another one with songs, another with celebrities, and to propose to the payers a “giant quizz” with 20 questions about these 3 subjects.
When you start a quizz website, you observe the success of each subject. And you develop the successful themes, little by little. You don’t create directly a gigantic database (with gigantic efforts) without knowing if the theme will be successful.
It is also in this case that the grouping of several small databases in a single quiz will be useful.

Is this development easy and quick to achieve? I’m ready to buy it in a “Deluxe” version.

    Hello again,

    I read this post: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/combining-quizzes/

The button “BULK MODIFY QUESTIONS” is not really a good option when you want to combine hundreds of questions lost among thousands of other ones. For the moment, I have more than 3300 questions (and I’m just starting the project) 😉

So, my suggestions is precisely: After creating a “new quizz”, would it be possible to choose all the questions of a quizz, and to add all the questions of another quiz into this new quizz, from the “HD Quiz – Quizzes” page, just by clicking on the name of the quizzes (or adding a check box for each line of the list)?

I know what you are asking; I’m just trying to think of an elegant way to achieve this that would be worthwhile implementing (IE: work well for you while being unintrusive for others).

I know you don’t want to hear this (and you already correctly guessed that I’m going to bring it up), but it is really hard to justify custom coding a solution for something that already exists in native WordPress.

I think that there are some “hidden” WordPress tips that could make this a more than reasonable solution for you though. I’ll try and record a quick video demonstration showing how you could quickly and easily add hundreds of questions to a new quiz in about 30 seconds. Stay tuned!

OK, I stay tuned. But if you say it’s possible without a special function in HDquiz, I believe you.

Maybe it’s possible with “Search Question” from WordPress.
I gave the same title to all my quizzes about flags (Asia, Europe, Africa).
So, when I search on WordPress with this common title, I get directly all the flags of the 3 continents (waiting for 5). With “Select al” (8 times), I can create a big quizz with 3 continents.

A tip could be to give different names to different subcategories, or to give (like I did without thinking) the same name to the “future big categories”.
