 * Hi,
 * I searched:
    [http://search.wordpress.org/multiple+blog](http://search.wordpress.org/multiple+blog)
 * And there’s no satisfactory answer.
 * Seems the recommended solution is the inelegant hack of having WP installed nn
   times with nn separate wp_config.php files for each turn.
 * This leads to the following questions:
 * 1. Can I have a unified interface for all the blogs I so install?
 * 2. How about searching: when a user searches my site, how can I make sure all
   blogs are included and the URLs constructed in search results are correct?
 * I hope this is a priority in the next release but would appreciate some thoughts
   about the above.

 * Probably the best place to look for multiblog would be the MU WP
    [http://mu.wordpress.org/](http://mu.wordpress.org/)
   I am afraid multiple blogs are not a priority – as it’s stated on the first page
   of this site: WP is a “personal” publishing tool…

 * Well yes, but even a single user may want multiple blogs because different sections
   of my site can have totally different layouts. Can I have different layouts based
   on categories?

 * You certainly can have [Category Templates](http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates),
   to style different parts of your site as you wish.

 * To have different lyaoit for different sections you don’t need X number of blogs.
   Yes, different layout based on categories is possible:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_Design_and_Layout#Themes_and_Templates](http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_Design_and_Layout#Themes_and_Templates)
