# Multiple blogs, same database?

 * I run a large music site with two distinct sections. Each section is its own 
   WordPress installation, and the main site is another separate installation (for
   a total of three separate blogs). In my search to share users between all three
   blogs, I found a lot of topics that were kind of relevant but nothing that was
   exactly what I was looking for. But then I came across the following mod…

 * I’d really like to try it, but all three of my blogs are installed in different
   databases. So my questions are:
 * 1) Is there any way to move installations between databases, so they can all 
   be on the same one?
 * OR
 * 2) Is there any way to make the above hack work with blogs on different databases?
 * OR
 * 3) Is there an easier way to accomplish any of this?

 * P.S. From the description it sounded like the plugin “Category Magic” would accomplish
   exactly what I need but it’s too out of date to use 🙁
