Multiple category shortcodes are not working

Hi,

I use this short code to show my past events and also the future events, but when I set more then on category whit the + no events will be displayed.
Is there something I have to do before or what can be wrong?

[eme_events category=1+2+3+4 scope=past order=DESC]
[eme_events category=1+2+3+4]
