# multiple emails on modified topic

 * Hi,
 * just pointing out a little bug: in several groups I have left as defaults the
   option “new topics”.
 * So correctly when a new topic is created people receive an email. Unfortunately
   whenever a user modifies the original topic (even within seconds) a new notification
   is sent out.
    It would be better to wait say 10 mins for sending out the notification,
   without sending notifications for topic modifications.

 * PS It would be great to have this plugin managing also forums outside groups!

 * This is a noted bbPress bug that is scheduled to be fixed for bbPress 2.6.0.
 * Until then, you can apply the following fix manually to your bbPress install:
