 * I am using this for a unique application. We are using this exclusively in house
as a way to track and communicate with our customers from first point of contact
to job completion (we are a service based company). I have three different types
of customers but I would like all of them to go into the same database and then
be sortable. The customer intake form for each division is different but they
have a lot of the same database input fields. Is it possible to have three different
sign up forms that map to the same database using this plugin?

 * So I got a little ahead of myself with this post as I did locate your article
on “Multiple Databases” and I noticed the scenario of the children’s sports team
with a different form for the parents and the kids.
 * In this section –
 * > The key to this is a field that differentiates the records. For this, we create
   > a field named “type” that will indicate whether the record is for a team member
   > or a parent. Make this field a hidden field and set the default value to post-
   > >post_name. What this will do is record the name of the page the signup form
   > was on. With that, you’ll be able to tell which form was used to create the
   > record.
 * I am not sure if I am supposed to create a field group, or a field in a group.
Also, I can’t seem where to mark the field as a hidden field.
 * I am new to this plugin so I am sure I will have a ton to contribute to the support
forums but this plugin is amazing and I really appreciate it!

 * It will get easier as you work with it, and the problem is, there are several
ways to do it. I suggest you add your hidden field (this is done on the Manage
Database Fields Page) to the main group. This is done by selecting the tab marked“
Participant Info” (that’s the default name, it could be different if you’ve changed
it) typing in a title for your field in the “add field” space at the top. Then
edit the new field, setting it’s “Form Element” setting to hidden. This is explained
in the “Hidden Signup Fields” section of the “Other Notes” page.
