# Multiple installs same database tables

 * What i would pretty much like to do is take one site, copy it and have it on 
   a different part of the same website. I know everything is stored in the options
   table, but how could i copy that table edit the values and make the second install
   use that table? because without doing that it works fine other than the fact 
   that if i change something in the admincp it changes it on both, can someone 
   tell me where i would change the values of what table the options load from? 
   any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    While anything is possible, one thing is for sure: If you do this, you
   are asking for trouble. WordPress is simply not designed to work this way.
 * There may be other ways to accomplish whatever your end goal is. Can you provide
   a little more information on why you need to do this — what you hope to achieve
   and why? I’ll bet there’s a more fitting solution.
