The company I work for uses the MailChimp plugin to build and communicate with our contact list. When a contact fills out a form, they receive an email with a link to a PDF that gives them more information about our company. However, if a client loses the email or does not save the PDF, they cannot go back to our site and fill out the form again. They receive an error stating something along the lines of ‘you’ve already been added to the mailing list’.

We would like for clients to be able to download the info packet as many times as they want and ideally without being added to the mailing list an additional time. Is this possible?

If not, is it possible to override MailChimp’s restriction dissallowing the same email address to sign up for our mailing list multiple times?

    the website is http://entrepreneurialattorney.com/

    Hi Countingaces,

You should be able to do this by going to MailChimp for WP > Forms > Your Form > Settings > Update Existing Subscribers => Yes.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!

PS. Should you have a quick minute to spare, a plugin review here on ww.wp.xz.cn would make us quite happy. 🙂

    Hi Danny,

    I’m still having trouble.

When I go to Forms, I am automatically brought to Form 645, which indicates to me that 645 is our only form, however when I log in to mailchimp.com I see several lists that we use. Why can’t I access a different sign up form within WP?

Please help. I didn’t set this up, so I’m kind of in the dark here.
