# Multiple Notifications & Incorrect Notifications

 * We’re using your plugin to notify us of pending lob posts that were created by
   this plugin – [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager/)
 * Whenever a job is posted, we get 4 to 6 copies of the message. Also, sometimes
   we get 4 or 5 copies when there wasn’t a job posting at all, and there’s nothing
   to approve…
 * Any thoughts, tips or advice?

    There
   are some settings which might solve your situation, e.g. “ignore status inherit”
   in the options.

 * I went to the options and saw notification that a “patch” was needed, which I“
   executed”, and then checked the box in options for this:
 * “Status “inherit” is used when post revisions get created by WordPress automatically”
 * and we’ll see how it goes:
 * (Are you saying that another name for that box might be, “Do not notify about
   revisions”?)
