 * What I would really like to do, and I’m not sure if this is possible, is have
a front page where my most recent article posts go, but also have a link to another
page where I can post my daily blog journal posts to, with the same ability to
separate comments per post, so that people can make comments on each day. Right
now I’m using a static page for my journal and then just updating it everyday,
but people can’t post comments to individual day’s posts, just to the page in
   general.
 * I’m using the second page as a blog journal and the first page as a kind of news
and articles section. I’m totally new to WordPress. Does anyone know how to accomplish
   this?

 * Might use something like [CSQ Reloaded](http://moshublog.com/2007/10/30/custom-query-string-reloaded-for-wordpress-23-with-tag-support/)
and use categories to separate the posts into different sections.
 * And I guess a Sticky post plugin might also do the job–for example [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-sticky/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-sticky/)

 * I’ve downloaded it, enabled it, but can’t figure out how it works. I’ve read
the user information but it’s all a bunch of HTML. I don’t know how to program
so I have no idea what it means. How would I go about making a separate post
page with this program? Any help would be appreciated.
 * My goal is to have a link on my front page that leads to ANOTHER page that I
can have posts on that my readers can comment on individual posts.

 * This really could be done with the static page feature of WordPress.
 * Change your theme to the WordPress Default theme.
 * Create a [page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Paged) called My Front Page.
 * Create a page called My Posts.
 * In your Settings->Reading, set the Front page displays to ‘A static page’ and
select “My Front Page” for the Front Page setting and select My Posts for the
   Posts Page.

 * After Creating the Pages, do you create the two php template pages, then just
include them into the rest of the theme??? I have been having issues with this
site on putting the blog on all subpages.
