 * I use your fine Tumblr Crossposted as well as WordTwit, so that when I make a
post, it goes on my Tumblr as well as gets a tweet sent out. But those tweets
from my WordPress are also becoming Tumblr posts. I figured this out when I had
a post that took advantage of WordTwit’s multiple tweets function so that a sale
I was promoting went out three times over the course of the day. Each one of
those tweets has become it’s own Tumblr post.

 * Any idea how to make it so that when I post to WordPress, the post goes onto
   Tumblr but not the tweet?

 * My admittedly limited understanding of how WordTwit works is that whenever a
new tweet is published, it also invokes the standard WordPress post publication
actions. See [line 253 of its main program file](https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordtwit/tags/3.7/include/classes/wordtwit.php#L253),
specifically between lines [282 and 292](https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wordtwit/tags/3.7/include/classes/wordtwit.php#L282).
 * For obvious reasons, Tumblr Crosspostr responds to WordPress’s commands to publish
posts. The issue you are having is therefore WordTwit’s problem, not Tumblr Crosspostr’s.

 * That gives me an idea of where to aim to see if I can fix this. Thank you so
   much for your quick response!

 * You’re welcome. Another thing to consider is that Tumblr Crosspostr can exclude
posts based on categories or tags, so if you need to use both plugins unchanged
it’s possible that creating a category such as “no crossposting” and applying
your scheduled tweets to that post may let you use both plugins without the one
   triggering the other.
