    Hi,

    I have 2 different VAT in my woocommerce shop: 21% and 4%

    I made a selling with 2 products with 21% VAT and 1 product with 4% VAT.

    When I get the report, it seems like the full amount of this selling is added to the 4% VAT line, so I cannot know the gross amount of the item that actually has this 4% VAT.

    Same with the 21% line, because it added the amount of the 4% VAT item in the net amount.

    So, I know the total tax amount but not the net sale amount.

    Do you have any solutions for this?

    Hi @anamarinas. Which reports are you referring to? The Analytics reports should have numbers including and excluding tax.

    Also, how are the taxes being added? Is this just using the normal tax functionality, or do you have an additional tax plugin of some sort?

    I’m using the normal tax functionality. 21% is standard and 4% is reduced tax.

    In the tax section of analytics reports, I can see the amount of both the taxes I have in my store. But I can’t see the net amount.
    If I click in the section of each one of the taxes, I do not see the net amount, because woocommerce adds the total amount of the purchase made, not only the product that has one or another VAT.

    For example:
    I have 3 products:
    1. Product A = 13,46 € (VAT 4% = 0,54 €)
    2. Product B = 4,95 € (VAT 21% = 1,04 €)
    3. Product C = 4,95 € (VAT 21% = 1,04 €)

    Sub total: 23,36 €
    Selling:4,50 €
    VAT 4%: 0,54 €
    VAT 21%: 2,08 €
    Total paid: 30,48 €

    In my report, when I click in the 4% VAT, the net amount is 23,36 € (the same amount of the entire selling), but the only product with this 4% VAT is 13,46 €
    And same thing happens in the 21% VAT report, it includes the 4% VAT product in the net amount.

    – Your tax settings (WooCommerce > Settings > Tax)
    – Your standard tax rates table
    – Your reduced tax rates table
    – Your Analytics tax report

    This is what I see in my tax report. There is the total tax, order tax, and shipping tax all calculated separately. Is this the report that’s not working, or are you talking about what is shown once you click on one of these tax rates to show the orders for them?

    Hi Austin, that is exactly where this is not working. My tax report is just like yours, it shows the correct numbers and amounts, but when I click in one or the other tax rate, the amounts are not correct.
    I mean, it should show the net amount of the items with this specific tax rate, not the net amount of the whole selling.

    Hi @anamarinas, thanks for clarifying. One thing you could try is removing all the data that Analytics uses and re-importing it. To do that, go to Analytics > Settings, find the “Import Historical Data” section, and click “Delete Previously Imported Data.” This will erase all the information about previous orders (from Analytics, not from your site). Then, import historical data again, and it will get that information fresh.

    If not in this report, is there a way to get the net amount of the items sold with a specific tax rate? Not only the tax amount.

    Hi @anamarinas. Can you post your system status report? You can find that by going to WooCommerce > Status in your dashboard, then clicking “Get system report,” then “Copy for support.”
