@vovastik thank you for reporting this. I’m not currently able to replicate this issue on my test site.

It’s strange that the error is a “403 Forbidden” error. The Multiple User Roles module does not modify the HTTP header / response code in any way. Is this on the wp-admin? Or some frontend user profile page?

p.s. is your WordPress install a multisite?

Not multisite. Admin role only. Editing Admin’s user profile in backend. Kadence theme.

OK. It’s most likely just my problem. I’m experimenting with different plugins right now.

@vovastik OK. Hope you’re able to figure out the cause.

    Just enable
    Disallow WP File Edit
    Blacklisted Usernames
    Disallow Dir Listing
Disallow Malicious File Access in upload
Disable Windows Live Writer (WLW) manifest
    Nav Menu Visibility
Block User Registration from Disposable Email
    Ban Emails
    Prevent User Enumeration
    Multiple User Roles
And try changing the language in your user profile.

It looks like an issue you need to resolve with your hosting provider. Could be a security settings they need to change.

Standard settings that many sites operate on.
Where can I send a private ticket?

    Plugin Author Bowo

    (@qriouslad)

@vovastik this is the support forum for the free version of ASE. There is no private ticket.

If you look at the changelog, there wasn’t any changes made to the Multiple User Roles module in v7.6.11 and v7.7.0. Do you have any other plugin / snippet that is modifying the profile editing screen in any way?

    Thread Starter vovastik

    (@vovastik)

    Oh my god!
I tested two plugins: ASE and WPMasterToolKit and wrote to the wrong support service.
ASE is a flawless plugin! The WPMasterToolKit plugin is glitching.
    Sorry for wasting your time.

@vovastik ah, OK. Hope you can figure it out with their support.
