# Multiple votes

 * Hi Dario,
 * I am using your plugin with the shortcode [yasr_visitor_votes] but I’ve noticed
   that a visitor (not logged in) is able to vote multiple times if s/he returns
   to the same page after few seconds.
    How can I avoid this?
 * I am using Autoptimize + WP Fastest Cache

 * This should not happens because a cookie is stored after the rating is saved.
 * Can you please try to disable autoptimize and or WP Fastest Cache ?

 * pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding `?ao_noptimize
   =1` to the URL.
 * if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration
   might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to
   exclude in [the AO FAQ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/#faq).

 * Yes, with ?ao_noptimize=1 it works fine.
    So, how can I fix it without having
   to exclude it from Autoptimize?

 * In that case you’re probably going to have to exclude yasr’s JS from being autoptimized

 * I’ve added yasr-front.js to the exclusion list but it still doesn’t work properly
   in the homepage.
 * [@dario](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dario/) the only difference is that
   in the homepage I’ve added the shortcode [yasr_visitor_votes] in the (classic)
   texteditor, and in all the other pages is directly in the template files (and
   it works fine).
 * Any suggestion?
