# Multisearch clear button

 * I really like the Combo Multisearch add-on. Thanks for suggesting it.
 * I’m using the target_page=listings parameter to put the filters on one page and
   the results on another and that works well.
 * When I press the Clear Button, I expect it to clear the filters and remain on
   the same page. Instead, it executes the query using the filters and displays 
   the results page. When I press the back button to return to the filter page, 
   the filters have been cleared.
 * Is this the way it should work?

 * It probably should not work that way. I will need to make some changes to the
   code so that the “clear” button does not take the user to the results page.
 * However, I don’t find that it submits the uncleared search parameters. In my 
   tests, it clears the search, then goes to the results page to show the result
   of a cleared search. That could be all records or none, depending on the configuration
   of the list shortcode.
 * Can you confirm that in your case the clear button is actually submitting the
   search parameters that were present before “clear” was clicked?
