# Multisite not php7 ready?

 * One of my sites’ theme authors has told me “unfortunately the issue is most likely
   to do with multisite – its an old system, and I don’t know how much WordPress
   actually invests into it – I’d definitely not use php 7 on a multisite instance
   regardless…”
 * Is this just legacy support for a deprecated theme or a genuine concern that 
   multisite is sidelined?

 * As do most of my sites, even some with the same problem theme. But it is just
   two sites eg Jordanlancaster.co.uk that give me a white screen when using php7(
   it’s currently php5.6) even wp-admin but phone compatibility plugin shows nothing
   of consequence

 * im on php 7 and multisite is running. the thing is that somehow the load all 
   options when login is a bit slower than 5.6 but that said in your case could 
   be a plugin or the theme is causing the problem
