 * Our customer would like to use multiple extensions for one product website.

   Is that possible?
 * If we were to use:
 * [http://www.websitename.nl](http://www.websitename.nl) – for the Netherlands
   and Belgium
    with a polylang plugin for multiple languages (Dutch – English (
   En) – German (De) – French (Fr))
 * [http://www.websitename.nl/en](http://www.websitename.nl/en)
    [http://www.websitename.nl/fr](http://www.websitename.nl/fr)
   [http://www.websitename.nl/de](http://www.websitename.nl/de)
 * +
 * [http://www.websitename.com-](http://www.websitename.com-) for foreign countries
   (
   with a polylang plugin for multiple languages (English (En) – German (De) – French(
   Fr))
 * [http://www.websitename.com](http://www.websitename.com)
    [http://www.websitename.com/fr](http://www.websitename.com/fr)
   [http://www.websitename.com/de](http://www.websitename.com/de)
 * Is this possible within a WordPress CMS?
    Or should this be a WordPress multi-
   site CMS. And if the best choice is a multisite, does this conflict with Polylang
   ideally we would only use 1 product module instead of 2

 * By “extension” you mean the top level domain (.nl, .com, etc.), right? Unless
   each domain.TLD is going to have distinctly different content, do not use multisite.
   You can have multiple domains all lead to the same WP installation. By default
   the domain name will be rewritten to the site’s main domain name that is set
   in Settings (site and home URLs). If you want the requested domain to remain,
   the site and home URLs need to be dynamically set in wp-config.php. See the [WP_SITEURL section](https://wordpress.org/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#wp_siteurl)
   and the subsequent Blog Address section of _Editing wp-config.php_ for specifics.
