 * Hi!
    Do you have a tutorial, or a page of explanation, for the best use of your
   plugin on a multisite (multisite created with multilingualpress, for the management
   of different languages)? I have a site in Italian and a site (linked to the Italian
   one) in English. Should the plugin be installed on the network? Or should the
   plugin be installed on the Italian site and also on the English site (double
   installation)? Thank you for any explanation you may wish to give me.

 * Hello [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) and thanks for
   your question. Currently, Site Kit doesn’t support WordPress multisite networks.
   So if you want to use Site Kit in a WordPress multisite installation, you will
   need to activate the plugin for each individual site you would like to use it
   on. So in this case you would need to install Site Kit on both the Italian and
   English site.
 * Hope this helps but let me know if you have any further questions.

 * I need to connect an external platform to google analytics.
    Having installed
   the code with Site Kit what do you recommend me to do. Here are two links to
   2 screenshots. [https://paste.pics/679e9a4b845d214ec233dfdd24725f93](https://paste.pics/679e9a4b845d214ec233dfdd24725f93)

 * I ask because the platform manager tells me:
    From what I see the code (the Google
   Analytics snippet) looks very different. My question is as follows: Do you want
   to integrate Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager?

 * [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) If you are using Site
   Kit to place your snippets then you will not need to use other plugins/platforms
   to also embed these. We recommend only placing a single code snippet for each
   Google service such as Tag Manager.
 * If you wish to embed these using a different service then you can still use Site
   Kit to view your stats but we would recommend removing the Site Kit placed snippet.
   If you wish to do this then let me know and I can guide you on how to do this.
 * Otherwise you don’t have anything to change and you can continue on other plugins
   and platforms without placing these snippets.
 * Let me know if you have any further questions.

 * I explained it wrong.
    Forgive my English language. We have an external platform
   through which we sell tour packages. To analyse the traffic that arrives on this
   sales platform, we have to connect this platform to our Google Analytics through
   the Google Analytics Tracking ID (as you can see in the linked images). [https://paste.pics/679e9a4b845d214ec233dfdd24725f93](https://paste.pics/679e9a4b845d214ec233dfdd24725f93)

 * But the webmaster of this platform said that he did not see the Google Analytics
   snippet inserted in the classic way. Normally, the Google Analytics snippet is
   inserted manually in the header. So this webmaster asked me:
    _“From what I see
   the code (the Google Analytics snippet) looks very different. My question is
   as follows: Do you want to integrate Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager?”
 * And now I don’t know what to say to the webmaster. That is why I am asking you
   for help.
    Thank you!

 * [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) no problem at all
   sorry for the misunderstanding.
 * Analytics can be inserted via different methods, including manually inserting
   a snippet into a themes header file, using Tag Manager or using a third party
   plugin such as Site Kit. They can appear different if checking a sites source
   code (ie. Using an Anlytics tag with Tag Manager won’t output the Analytics property
   ID in the source code).
 * Could you please share your site URL so I can confirm a successfully placed snippet,
   or you can use [tagassistant.googe.com](http://tagassistant.googe.com). If you
   are using Tag Manager then you won’t see a “classic snippet”. But I can confirm
   the property that is tracking for you.

 * YES, I looked on the link you gave me and everything is working.
    But I still
   don’t know what data to give to the platform to connect it to my Google Analytics:–
   I can’t give it the Google snippet because using Site Kit you can’t see the snippet;–
   I can’t give it the Google Tag Manager Container ID, because I don’t have it,
   right?
 * What can I give to the platform to make it connect with my Google Analytics?

 * [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) If you are looking
   to find your Analytics tracking ID then you can use [this guide](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9539598?hl=en)
   where steps 1 and 2 show you how to find your Tracking ID.
 * If you wanted to add a Google Tag Manager container then you can find these by
   going to [https://tagmanager.google.com/](https://tagmanager.google.com/) and
   logging in with your account. Here you will be listed with all your accounts
   and their container IDs.
 * You should also be able to get this information from your Site Kit if you have
   a module connected by going to **Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services **
   and checking the service you wish to get the tracking information for.
 * Is this what you were looking for?

 * Hi!
    The webmaster of the platform (which I have to link to my Google Analytics)
   tells me that the code on my site must appear as in the image I have attached.
   [https://paste.pics/588c0991bcf62f758ea70a8ef9a8db7a](https://paste.pics/588c0991bcf62f758ea70a8ef9a8db7a)
   Using SiteKit, how can I make it look like this? Thanks a lot!

 * [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) The screenshot you
   have shared shows the code snippet you would be provided by the Analytics platform
   to place manually on your website.
 * Although the Site Kit placed code looks different it is still valid like the
   code you have shared and won’t cause any issues.
 * Can I ask if there is a particular reason why your Web master is asking for the
   Analytics snippet to be in that format? Both code snippets will do the same job
   and track stats for your site.

 * The webmaster says that with the current code he cannot connect the platform
   to our google analytics.
 * If I add this code manually, do I have to give SiteKit a different setting first?

 * [@demomann](https://wordpress.org/support/users/demomann/) In this scenario I
   would recommend placing the Analytics snippet suggested by your Webmaster into
   your sites source code and disabling the Site Kit placed snippet.
 * You can do this by going to **Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services ** and
   editing the service you wish to disable to snippet for. You can then disable
   the snippet placements for a service [see here](https://imgur.com/a/FegihhL)
   for Analytics.
 * For help with placing the Analytics snippet manually you will need to discuss
   with your Webmaster.
