# multisite: Cannot load configuration.

 * Configuration on main page of multisite worked out of the box. On all other instances
   on the multisite we get the Error
 * “Cannot load configuration.Please contact us for help [hier](https://www.echoknowledgebase.com/technical-support/).”
 * The documentation ( [https://www.echoknowledgebase.com/documentation/more-features-rtl-accessibility/](https://www.echoknowledgebase.com/documentation/more-features-rtl-accessibility/))
   did say nothing more than, install and activate on each instance. We did that.
 * Can anyone help?

 * Thanks for the fast help and information!
 * For anyone else encountering this problem on a multisite setting.
    1. Install KB but keep it deactivated network-wide or deactivate KB network-wide
       if already installed.
    2. Only then create sub sites
    3. Activate KB on each sub site individually
 * Please adhere religiously to the order above, because if you had KB activated
   network-wide before creating a sub site, the plugin configuration will not work
   on the sub-site!
