# Multisite Clarification

 * I understand that Profilegrid works on WP multisite in a separately configured
   way for each sub site ([https://wordpress.org/support/topic/is-profilegrid-multi-site-network/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/is-profilegrid-multi-site-network/)).
 * One clarification please: does this mean that users on each sub site will have
   to login separately – e.g., create and use different User IDs – on EACH sub site?
 * Put separately, is there no way for a single profile to work across the entire
   network?

 * In a multisite WordPress setup, each site within the network typically has its
   own separate user database and user accounts. This means that a user registered
   on one site doesn’t automatically have an account on other sites within the network.
 * ProfileGrid works based on the users created in WordPress. There are some third
   party plugins available that specialize in multisite user management and can 
   help in achieving a unified user experience.
