 * Hi all,
 * I have a multisite network with 3 sites. The sites are subdirectories using domain
   mapping.
 * [http://www.onesys.ie](http://www.onesys.ie) (main site, no mapping)
   mapped domain from onesys.ie/onesysnews/) [http://www.pegasusopera.net](http://www.pegasusopera.net)(
   mapped domain from onesys.ie/onesysforum/)
 * These sites all share the same styling, and are intended to be perceived by the
user as ONE cohesive website… however I’ve been having a nightmare with the login/
   registration system!
 * What I want is that when a user logs into any of the 3 sites, he/she should be
logged into all 3 sites. When the user logs out, then he/she should be logged
out of all 3 sites! This is not the case at the moment.
 * I want the user to be taken to whatever page they were viewing after logging
in / logging out. I can achieve this on the main site, but on the mapped sites
the user is taken to wp-login.php.
 * Surely there’s some way of making the login system behave the same way across
all sites on a multisite network?!
 * Has anyone tried to achieve this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

 * In the domain mapping options, did you enable “remote login”?

 * Thanks for the reply Andrea…
 * I have enabled the “Remote Login” function, however that hasn’t really solved
   my problem.
 * I’m unsure how I should set this up really. As I said I have 3 sites that should
be perceived as one site. Should each site have its own login and registration
page or should they all use the same one?
 * I don’t want the user seeing the wordpress login screens, or the backend.
 * Whatever way I try it, the user is never logged into all 3 sites, and I’m getting
the following error when trying to log out of the 2 mapped sites:
 * > You are attempting to log out of ONE Systems
   > Do you really want to log out?
 * Mind is now officially boggled! Never had this much hassle with a login system
   in my life…

 * Same here! The main blog counts as a site, and so do each of the other blogs,
so when a user has permissions for more than one site, apparently they get a
login / logout for each site. Although oddly, when you log into a subsite, you’re
logged automatically into the main site.
 * I’m using 3.2.1 with multisite and these tests are with non-admin users – authors
   and subscribers.
 * I’m not seeing a convenient plugin unfortunately. Any help would be great!

 * The original post had to do with domain mapping.
 * For multisite, out of the box users are logged in everywhere. Perhaps you have
   cookies set wrong?
