 * Hi there,
 * I read that FluentSMTP works with multisite, by simply setting up the plugin
   and entering the SMTP date on one site of the network and it will automatically
   be applied to all sites in the network/network-wide.
 * But when I tried now, it’s not working.
 * Has this feature been changed?
 * Thank you and best wishes
   Jenny

 * Addition: it works that I don’t need to configure it for the network in general–
   there it automatically works too, but I need to make the settings for every new
   site in the network again separately, is that correct?

 * Hello [@jjva](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jjva/),
 * Thank you for reaching out to us! It is a pleasure to assist you today with your
   FluentSMTP setup.
 * To answer your question directly: Yes, that is correct. Even with a network-wide
   activation, each subsite in your network requires its own specific SMTP configuration.
   This architecture is intentional, as it allows for greater flexibility—for example,
   it gives you the ability to use different “From” addresses, specific reply-to
   settings, or even entirely different SMTP providers for different sites within
   the same network.
 * While this means you do need to configure the credentials for each new site separately,
   it ensures that your email deliverability remains robust and isolated for every
   site in your network.
 * I hope this clears up the confusion!
