# Multisite control problem

 * I have allowed users to create subdomain sites on my multisite blog. When users
   create a subdomain site it works great BUT… when the subsite owner sends users
   to the subsite registration page, there is a box asking those users if they want
   to set up a site. This allows another site to be created as a subdomain of the
   original subdomain: site2.site1.mydomain.com.
 * How can I make it so you can only register for a new subsite from the top level
   and not from another subsite?

   some manual edits, and NOT the default.
 * because by default, signing up works exactly the way it does at wordpress.com.

 * When you set up miltisite you can have them as subdomains or subdirectories. 
   No special plugins just multisite enabled.

 * What’s your site? What you describe happening does not happen by default. that’s
   why I suggested you may have a plugin doing it or have done something else.
