 * Maybe time for a dedicated WP Multisite codex? The information that is out there
seems rather difficult to access and use in an efficient manner (totally unlike
the main codex, which is GREAT!)
 * I am happy to volunteer my services, however they may most help, toward getting
this done (in the spirit of open source).
 * A simple branch off the main codex would be a solid start. Simple topics.
 * Multisite is still kind of new and a lot of techs are still unfamiliar with it.
Would be so great to have an official resource.

 * I myself think that’s partly due to the complexity of multisite.

 * I like that statement! Why not head over to [http://make.wordpress.org/docs/](http://make.wordpress.org/docs/)
and check out the links in the top Big Blue Welcome Box™? That’s a great set
of links to get started and the more the merrier.
 * **Edit:** It’s the part under “Want to get involved?”

 * Yes, I agree. The few multisite codex articles that exist are mixed in with the
rest and hard to find without Google.

 * One day, when WordPress Multisite is easier to use, none of this will matter.
The entire codex is jumbled, per the nature of a Wiki, and since there’s a massive
amount of crossover with commands (that is every single single-site command will
run on Multisite, with perhaps a little cajolling), is it better to further segment
it out or to merge it all together?
 * I lean towards merging, since that’s the goal for the code bases 🙂
