 * Hello ,
    I am not a hard core techie so will try to explain as best as I can.
 * 1. I have a shared hosting server space where I am allowed to host multiple domains.

   2. I already have a domain hosted ([http://footprintsforever.com](http://footprintsforever.com))
   under a folder called “wp” created under public.html.
 * 3. The WP installation is still not a multisite enabled, but I guess I will be
   able to manage that and convert it into a multisite WP installation.
 * 4. I would like to start another separate blog with a new domain (www.mynewdomain.
   com ) domain (not a sub domain/ sub directory). This is NOT a multidoman mapping
   or redirection to the original domain.
 * Question :
    I need to Know if my multisite enabled WP installation can help me
   to achieve this. DO we need to again install seperately , say , in another folder
   named new_wp ?
 * Also in that case can the same plugins/ themes need to be replicated or would
   the same installation be shared among these two unique / individual sites.
 * If so, can anyone please advice or provide any links for documentation / videos.
 * Thanks in advance,
    Samit

 * Hello,
 * For adding a new domain in your shared hosting with multiple domain Plan you
   need to click on option knows as addon domain under cpanel which will make a
   Folder under public_html were existing domain files are there.
    For example if
   you a added a new addon domain [http://www.mynewdomain.com](http://www.mynewdomain.com)
   it will create a folder name mynewdomain.com were you can install a new wordpress
   with new database. without affecting any existing WordPress website.

 * Hello neelgajjar
 * In that case, it works with a separate WP installation.
 * What I wanted to know is can I have multisite installation for WP , thus using
   the same installation to control different sites from the same dashboard.
    This
   happends for wordpress.com sites, and I have seen videos/ checked docs for adding
   sub-domain.
 * I need to know if a unique domain can also be managed as such.
    Thanks Samit

 * Yes this is possible with WP multisite. I have it setup using [Domain Mapping plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/).
   Note that you might run into problems with logins and SSL certificates. It depends
   on your host. To be clear one of my WP sites has over 400 sites with names like:
   *.
   domain.com domain2.com domaain3.com
