 * This plugin currently doesn’t seem to work for multisite – I don’t see the option
   to add a note on any page, however, it would be perfect for multisite users —
   amazing if I could create instructions on various pages for all of my sub-sites.
   Please let me know if I am missing something or if it should be working.

 * Hi,
 * I believe the plugin works for multisite, but note that these are *only* dashboard
   notes. Its not possible to create notes on different/various pages, just the
   dashboard page (check the screenshots for precise location / where to find the‘
   Add’ button 😉
 * Cheers,
    Jeroen

 * Jeroen, thanks for the quick response. Yes, I do not see the link on the specific
   Dashboard screen – or on any of the admin screens. BTW, I misreported I was on
   4.9.3. I am using 4.9.4.

 * Hi,
 * Could you verify the plugin is activated properly (possibly something went wrong
   there)?
 * Also, can you post a screenshot of where you’re looking / what you’re seeing?
 * Thank you,
    Jeroen

 * I’m having the same issue in my mutisite network installation.
    The plugin is
   network actived (displays on both on the network and in the sites), but there
   is no Add Note link on any Dashboard. I’d be glad to send a screenshot but there
   is nothing to send a screenshot of.. 🙂
 * Would be extremely happy and grateful if this could be fixed.
 * Thanks!
    DenW
 * Oh.. I’m on 4.9.5

 * I can confirm that something has changed and the new note button is no longer
   appearing in multisite. It was working previously. If I activate the plugin on
   a single site within the multisite it’s fine, but when activated Network wide,
   the menu doesn’t appear, and notes that were previously created, when the plugin
   was activated on a site by site basis, no longer appear.
 * Reverting to version 1.8.1 of the plugin fixes the issue, so I would assume given
   that there are different versions of WP reporting the issue, that it was a change
   made in 1.0.9 that has gone a bit to far in ensuring the plugin doesn’t run outside
   of the dashboard, hiding it completely when active Networkwide.
 * Is the plugin on github where we could look at the changes made between the two
   versions?

 * The plugin can be found on GH here: [https://github.com/JeroenSormani/WP-Dashboard-Notes/](https://github.com/JeroenSormani/WP-Dashboard-Notes/)
 * I’ve done a test on MS and it appears the global `$pagenow` is always empty when
   on a multisite (at the given load order); [https://github.com/JeroenSormani/WP-Dashboard-Notes/blob/master/wp-dashboard-notes.php#L64](https://github.com/JeroenSormani/WP-Dashboard-Notes/blob/master/wp-dashboard-notes.php#L64)
 * If you find a way to identify the dashboard page on MS sites I’d be happy to
   take a look at a PR.
 * Thanks!
    Jeroen
