# multisite saml login?

 * Greetings — I would like to know if any multisite network admins are successfully
   authenticating user logins via SAML. Our IT strongly recommends it, but their
   vendor, PingIdentity, recommends a SAML plugin ([SAML 2.0 SSO](https://wordpress.org/plugins/saml-20-single-sign-on/))
   that is not frequently updated and does not readily work in a multisite environment.
 * In a broader sense, I’m wondering whether any of you have thoughts on SAML as
   a preferred multisite authentication protocol: if indeed there are few up to 
   date, multisite compatible WordPress SAML login plugins, this could indicate 
   that few consider it an important priority.
