# Multisite Max Upload issue

 * Hello,
 * Running multisite 4.8.1. In Network Admin settings I have Max upload file size
   set to 6000KB (6MB). However, in one of my network sites, I get an upload error
   of ‘Maximum upload file size: 2MB.’ I’ve looked in php.ini and upload_max_filesize
   is well above 2MB.
 * I appreciate any suggestions of what I’m doing wrong here.

 * Did you look in wp-config.php or theme functions for max_upload definitions? 
   It can also be set in the .htaccess file. Be very careful with any edits and 
   make backups first.
