 * Some blogs require users to first register by rewriting a special oddly written
   word and then activate their account by clicking a link in their email before
   they can comment. Can this only be accomplished through a plugin I must buy or
   can it be done with coding? thanks

 * I’m not sure it does exactly what you are looking for, but it does have the captcha.
