    Hello,

    The plugin internal design should be improved.
    When I selected Dropbox, there was no easy eye-catching button which will tell me that, I’m missing to authenticate my Dropbox account with Updraft plugin.

    Dear developer, please change auth link to button. So, anyone can easily notice. Else, for instance it was a little frustrating experience, when I’m continuously scanning remote storage, but there is not backup file.

    Thank you for using UpdraftPlus. Your review is harsh! Please, can you give a plugin author an opportunity to respond in the support forum before?

    If you select Dropbox without authorising, then a notice appears at the top of every single page in the WordPress dashboard, until you do so, with an unambiguous statement that you cannot backup until you do so. Screenshot: http://snag.gy/8d3vY.jpg

    Hi Gulshan,

    It sounds like you’re saying that your habit is to ignore dashboard notices, unless they jump out at you? This seems like a recipe for turning the dashboard into a mess, and an arms race for plugins to make their notices ever more intrusive to get attention.I think the problem is plugins that print irrelevant notices, that help train users to do that, not plugins printing relevant notices.

    Encouraging people to ignore notices that aren’t doing something special or weird isn’t a train I’d want to get on – it’s a bad idea for the long term.
