mycred buddydrive?

    Hello,

    I’m currently using mycred with my wordpress 3.8, buddypress 1.9, and buddydrive 1.1.1.

    I’d like to add mycred functionality to Buddydrive so that people who upload or download files get awarded or lose points based on the amount the uploader wishes to “charge”.

    In the upload portion of Buddydrive, the first step asks to “describe the file” which I think is unnecessary for what I’m attempting to do. Instead maybe the user just types in the amount of mycred points they wish to charge the downloader. Then when a user downloads a file they lose that amount of points and is awarded to the uploader.

    I’m not too adept at WordPress or PHP but I’m willing to learn if I’m pointed in the right direction.

    Hi.

    I have never used BuddyDrive so I will have to download it and have a look.
    If the plugin allows third-party plugins to “detect” downloads and uploads then you can easily create a custom myCRED Hook that awards / charges users points.

    Not sure about replacing a upload step though. You probably will be able to insert extra details but not replacing an entire step.

    Hi,

    i have a similiar question:

    I want my users to pay with myCRED points for downloading Buddydrive files.

    Also they should earn points for uploading files.

    Did you test Buddydrive+myCRED in the meantime?
