# mysite.com keeps forwarding – help

 * Im a bit of a novice with no PHP knowledge and recently made a mistake that I
   thought I corrected.
 * I was trying to make my ‘recent’ posts show up in **/home** but found the correct
   place to put this later. I also experimented with redirects.
 * Under the control panel in **Settings** > **Permalinks** I made a custom structure**/
   home**. When ever I went to the **mysite.com** page it would send me to **mysite.
   com/home**. Which was not what I wanted. As I developed the site I settled on
   a **/archives/%post_id%** structure and changed the setting accordingly.
 * Long story short… when ever I go to **mysite.com** it takes me to **mysite/home**.
   My redirects are fixed, and all the settings look alright. But it still goes 
   to **/home**. Any ideas on where this gremlin could be?

 * Update: I checked my DNS record and they look correct. If anyone has ideas. Please
   help.
