# MySQL Corruption – Partial

 * My Blog suddenly went from 600 posts to 10. All the comments are there. The admin
   categories page correctly shows categories assigned to the 600 posts. Everything
   seems to be there except for the posts.
 * I browsed the MySQL database and only the text of the ten posts are there. There’s
   a lot of null records.
 * Is there any tools that would scan the data base and rebuild it? I’m open to 
   any ideas as my last back up is pretty old.

 * I don’t think there’s a way to restore MySQL data. Once it’s gone, it’s gone,
   as MySQL databases fix corruption on their own. You should back up more frequently.
