Mystile Theme Page width issue

    Hi Guys,

    Hoping somebody can help me.

    I have been asked by a friend to make some changes to her website that was built by her brother in law. I got the login details but suddenly realised that the previous designer had used a wootheme as its base.

    I am trying to change the container width of the main page (the greyish area) but for some reason no matter what code I put in, the website stays exactly the same!

    I tried to ask woothemes about this but as i didn’t purchase the theme they will not answer my questions.

    Hopefully somebody will have dealt with something similar before and could help me out.

    What width do you want to container to be?

    Hi sorry about that! The website is http://www.olivecreations.co.uk

    As far as I can tell the maximum width is set to 1200. I have tried changing it to about 1500 but had no luck! I’m basically trying to widen the page so that I can move the navigation bar vertically down the side of the header.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure this is what you are trying to achieve but I was able to increase the width to 1500 using this:

    html.boxed body {
   max-width: 1500px;
}

    It looks like that code is already in your theme’s custom CSS area but was set to 1150px.

    Hi Yeah thats roughly what I was after!

    Im just trying to figure out how to fill the newly sized box so that the margins aren’t as big.

    Ill probably be back later with more questions haha. This theme is awful to edit.
