I’m afraid that I don’t understand this completely, are you saying that the translation of the First Name is Last Name, and other way around, Last Name is translated to First name in French?
I don’t see any examples shared so I’m not sure to which error you are referring to exactly, could you share an URL of the page where we can have a look at this form?

The translation is done from collaboration from users:

You can filter the string and suggest the fixed version:

Another alternative is using a plugin like Loco Translate plugin:

Filter for the wrong string, fix it, save the settings, once done you can download the PO and MO folder, upload the files to wp-content/languages/plugins.
