Necessary category with Polylang

    Trying to set the necessary cookies on a multilingual site, I hit a problem. As soon as I create a category for another language, the switch off/on buton appears in tne pop-up window, so user can shut the necessary cookies off.

    Trying to put the same slug to another language category (as advised), CookieYes plugin says: “The slug “necessary” is already in use by another term.”

    If you’d care to help, I’d very appreciate it.

    Hi @maksymsdesign,

    We can help with that.

    Go to Cookie Category page and from the admin page top bar, please choose the language that you want to edit instead of “All languages”. Then click Quick Edit on the necessary category and you will be able edit the slug.

    Thanks a lot! It worked perfectly!
    The only thing is that now necessery cookies in all languages are at the bottom of the pop-up window. Weird, isn’t it?

    And now I can’t set all the categories to “enabled” except English. It shows the red line “Item not updated”.
