# Need a solid, simple slider

 * I have tried and discarded about a dozen different slider plugins, so turning
   here for help.
 * I don’t want to spend a lot of time on images. As a rule, all my posts have 300
   ×300 images attached as featured images and that’s it.
 * The slider should preferably be (1) responsive, (2) you can put in the category
   and/or post ID’s that you want it to display, (3) not big, something like 580px
   across would be optimal, (4) show small thumbnails of the 300×300 images that
   enlarge when clicked upon to show the full size image as well as the title, post
   excerpt, and preferably a post meta field.
 * Would much appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.
