# Need Basic Help with sidebar/columns

 * Hi… I am having so much trouble trying to add something to my blog @ [http://serial-box.net](http://serial-box.net)
 * I absolutely love the theme/template(5thirtyone), and have tried contacting the
   guy who designed it but get no response.
 * This is what I need done.. The header and footer(bottom.php) both have 2 columns..
   I want to make it 3 columns..
 * I would also like to create either a left & right sidebar.. or just one or the
   other for the main section. I have tried creating new DIV ID’s in the CSS, but
   I dont know enough about it and keep messing it up.
 * I am willing to pay someone to do this if it is a difficult task.
 * Any help would be apprecaited as this is driving me crazy!

 * why is it so hard to get help with wordpress.. especially on the wordpress forum
 * going to look for another CMS to use since it is practically impossible to get
   help.
