# Need Help with some HTML coding (minor changes)

 * I am trying to make some minor changes to this template
 * 1. REMOVE the word(s) **the Augustan** and **Minority Culture in Augusta** as
   they appear above the header black block.
 * 2. Delete the **HOME** option along with the entire menu line that appears directly
   under the header image (it’s also black but it’s a few pixels thick and it makes
   the logo appear of center.
 * 3. Change the color of the right sidebar options to black.

 * 1) dashboard – settings
    leave site title and tagline blank or create a child
   theme [http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
   and remove the appropriate code from theme’s `header.php`
 * 2) dashboard – appearance – menus
    set not to have menu or any other menu option
 * 3) not sure what you mean, but you would do that via the theme’s `style.css` 
   via above mentioned child theme

 * I removed the menu options and I still have a **Home** button that I’d like to
   remove, any clue how to do that?
 * Also, how do I make a “child theme?” The link is sort of confusing.
