# Need Shibboleth Plugin? Use 'HTTP Authentication'

 * Considering this is broken with my installation of WP 3.5.2.
    I used the plugin
   [https://wordpress.org/plugins/http-authentication/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/http-authentication/)
   and utilised the REMOTE_USER variable generated.
 * Basically protect the /wp-admin/ apache location with Shib and use this plugin.
   Just manually create the users in WordPress and your away laughing.
