need some answers about multisite

    Hello;

    I have a primary site and wanted to create a subdomain after searching I found the Multisite option and after adding the codes to wp-config I wanted to ask 1-where the database of the subsite will be saved. will it be saved with the primary website database?

    2- how to make the subsite the same primary website theme and plugins?

    3- I’m using AWS EC2 Ubuntu instance on Nginx..so shall I add any configuration?

    Thanks and hope that can anyone help me as i’m not from a technical background

    1. Sites in a MultiSite share a database.

    2. Sites in a MultiSite have access to the same plugins and themes.

    3. I’m not familiar enough with Nginx to comment there, but I’m sure some Googling will get you quite far.

    @madtownlems Thanks for your reply, however can you advise how to copy the same theme of the primary site to be the same in the subsite

    Each site can set which theme it wants to use, so you’d simply navigate to the Appearance->Themes page of the subsite and select the same theme.

    @madtownlems that’s not what i mean…what i mean is i want the subsite to be identical(duplicated) like the same primary site

    if you active a theme in network active it will be visible to all subsite+subdomain.

    however if you make any customization on any site, it will not effect other.

    in another word you will needs to customize each site. even though they are using same theme.
