# Nested Pages Menu not syncing

 * I have WPML installed and after I synced the lang menus my primary default language
   menu (Nested Pages) got all “flat”. No nests what so ever and I just couldn’t
   sync it back to the structure it was. Finally I deleted the whole menu and usually
   Nested Pages recreates the menu, but this time the recreated menu stayed empty.
   I deleted the Nested Pages plugin and installed it again, same thing. It didn’t
   create the menu anymore.
 * Not sure what to do now. Have I lost this nice feature of automatic menu structure
   for ever? Sigh..

 * This still seems to be the case which is a shame.
 * I did find that using [wp_page_menu()](https://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_page_menu)
   to generate the menu in the template rather than wp_nav_menu(), did output the
   pages correctly for each language and in the arrangement specified by Nested 
   Pages, so this might be a possible workaround?
