# Nested shortcodes

 * Hi, I’m using wpdatatables along with “Shortcodes for Divi”. I wpdatatables allows
   me to create a shortcode to use and pass a parameter thru it: [wpdatatable id
   =41 VAR1= %wdt_ID%] When I put this shortcode into a text module it works just
   fine. When I put that module in the Divi Library and after creating a shortcode
   using Shortcodes for Divi [divi_library_layout id=”3067″] and placing that into
   my original text module it no longer works.
 * I have verified that the parameter is successfully passed but the wpdatatable
   shortcode doesn’t work.
 * Any suggestions/reasons why this isn’t working?
