# Network activate on multisite doesn't work

 * Hi
    I have tried before and found an other post on the same problem but it was
   never resolved. I startet a multisite, but I can’t network activate the themes
   or the plugins. Some can. On the main site i can see all themes and plugins but
   not on the subdomain.
 * I read somewhere i had to go to network settings and tick the “enable administration
   menu” where it says “plugin”. That didn’t help.
 * I only have one user – the super admin. I can copy the files and manually put
   them in the folders and the themes and plugins show up but then the idea of “
   network activation” is hmm…
 * When i download a plugin or theme I install them and network activate the. Shouln’t
   they then show on all sites also the subsomains?
 * Hope you can help me. I’m stuck!!

 * Themes and plugins work differently.
 * Network Active THEMES are available to be used on all sites and show in each 
   site’s wp-admin -> Apperances -> Themes
 * Network Active PLUGINS are active but DO NOT show up in the plugins list.
