# Network Menu in Multisite

 * Is there a way of creating a single menu that can then be used on all sites within
   the network, rather than having to create a menu in each one?
 * I tried the Multisite Master Shared Menu plugin but it seemed to stop the Advanced
   Menus plugin from working which I use in all my sidebars.

 * Not really, because menu items of any one site are not accessible from other 
   sites. It’s conceivable though to copy menu items and other related data from
   a “master” site and insert copies in all the other sites. It’s essentially the
   same thing as manually creating menus in each site, except it’s done by script.
 * We’re assuming the same resources are available on all of the sites with the 
   same permalinks, otherwise there’s little point in a common menu. I’m assuming
   the usual wp_nav_menu() system is used. The specifics of alternate menu systems
   will differ.
