# Network setup doesn’t appear.

 * Hi,
 * I want to create a multisite network. However, I don’t see the option ‘network
   setup’ under tools.
 * Here’s what I’ve done so far.
 * I’ve put
 *     ```
        /* Multisite */
       define( 'WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true );
       ```
   
 * in the wp-config.php file right above the line
 * `/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */`
 * In this picture, you can see it.

 * However, when I sign in, **as admin** I don’t see anything under tools. See picture.

   I see nothing under tools⌉
 * And yes, I’ve used different websites that explain the steps on how to do this.
   
   And yes, I’ve watched tutorials on YouTube.
 * And yes, I’ve even emptied my cache, tried it on another browser, and waited 
   a week and tried it again.
 * But I still don’t know how to see the “network setup” appearing in my dashboard.
 * Can anybody help me?

 * Not sure if it should make a difference, but did you try deactivating all plugins?
   If yes, then maybe try deactivating all plugins and switching to a default theme.

 * First you should be following these instructions – [Create A Network](https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network)
 * A few reasons why you dont see step #3: wp-admin -> Tools -> Network Setup
    1. You arent logging in as an admin
    2. You didnt configure wp-config.php correctly
    3. WP version too old
    4. You have another plugin or template that is interfering
    5. You configured your WP for multisite previously
 * I’m guessing you already configured your WP for multiste and forgot… which would
   be odd because you have to make configuration decisions. One way to check is 
   to log in as your admin, then access the Network menu – polyglotsdiary.com/wp-
   admin/network
