I just installed WordPress this week on a private server (the server is standalone and not on my domain) and I am having some issues. If I am on the server, the page loads fine. If I try to load the page from a domain PC, the page doesn’t load properly, pics wont’ load, links are broken, etc. I am VERY new to all of this and any help would be greatly appreciated. WordPress is running on a 2008 R2 server with IIS.

If you installed WordPress from a browser located on the server itself, and you used “localhost” in your WordPress URL’s, then it’s only going to be accessible from the server (see localhost, 127.0.0.1, or loopback interface for reference).

Installing WordPress from another machine on your network using the static ip address of the stand-alone server should solve the issue, and make WordPress available to any machine on your network via the servers static, private internal IP address.
